Affordable Health Care

health1.jpgThe government is pushing to lower the cost of health care so more Americans can afford the best health care products from private providers. This was to amend problems with previous health bills that did not place children in front of other concerns leaving millions without the ability to get private health care. This becomes a problem in times of crisis such as the housing market woes that affected the economy of the whole world. Even middle class Americans found themselves without the ability to get affordable health care products for the respectable amount of income they make. As the Presidents staff placed it, it is a move to repackage bad policy that had persisted for a long time.

The real way to offer affordable health care to the citizens of the US is to allow carriers to offer coverage across state lines. The system is flawed and broken and without further competition for the consumers dollars, price inflation will continue.

“The government is pushing to lower the cost of health care…”

Not really. If the government wanted to reduce the cost of health care the government would open health care providers to national coverage and stop the state by state boundaries.

Competition is what lowers the cost of anything.

Nothing the government pays for ever gets cheaper. Government should stay out of health care insurance just like the government has nothing to do with renters insurance, homeowners insurance, auto insurance…
